Cardiff Lift Company was formed in 1969 as a independent maintenance company serving the South Wales region.   In 1985 following a move to a 6000 square foot factory in the Cardiff Bay area Cardiff Lift Company started manufacturing custom designed service lifts.   The success of the service lifts created a demand for custom designed lifts of all types, including: Passenger Lifts Goods Passenger Lifts Bed Passenger Lifts Scenic Passenger Lifts These ranged from compact passenger lifts to 7000 kg fully automatic goods lifts, of either electric traction or electro hydraulic drive types.   In 1999 Cardiff Lift Company led by customer demand acquired larger custom built premises.   This new 17000 square foot factory and offices were opened by the renowned Welsh Rugby International and British Lion, Scott Gibbs.   The new factory enabled Cardiff Lift Company to increase manufacturing output, and develop lifts to suit clients individual requirements.   Quality   Cardiff Lift Company is one of the first independent lift companies to achieve full compliance with the European Lift Directive 95/16/EC.   This ensures that from design and throughout manufacture, installation and commissioning, Cardiff Lift Company is able to provide high quality lifts incorporating all the latest technology and features in total compliance with current safety and legislative requirements all within the Quality System ISO 9001 parameters.   After Sales Care   Cardiff Lift Company is well resourced to offer complete support services that ensure the continued high performance and reliance of our products.
